Series softstarter 37kW is a kind of intelligent starting equipment specially designed for small and medium power motors, suitable for 380V or 440V low voltage grid environment, which can ensure smooth starting and effectively reduce energy consumption and equipment loss. Unlike high-voltage soft starters, low-voltage soft starters are more compact and easy to install and maintain, and are suitable for motor control of small and medium-sized industrial equipment such as factory production lines, HVAC systems, compressors and crushers. Its core working principle is to accurately adjust the triggering phase of the thyristor through the microprocessor, so that the motor terminal voltage from the initial value of the gradual increase, to avoid the impact of the full-voltage start-up up to 5-8 times the rated current, thus reducing the impact of voltage fluctuations on the distribution system, to prevent other sensitive equipment within the same grid due to the voltage dips in the wrong operation.

 

Softstarter 37kW of this power level are usually equipped with perfect motor protection functions, such as real-time monitoring of current, voltage, power factor and other parameters, in the event of overcurrent, short circuit, three-phase imbalance and other faults quickly cut off the power supply to ensure equipment safety. Some advanced models also have built-in energy-saving operation mode, which automatically switches to the bypass contactor after the motor reaches the rated speed, reduces the thyristor conduction loss, and improves the overall energy efficiency.
