Brief Introduction

 

 

KYN28A-12 dynamic switchgear consists of fixed cabinet and removable vacuum circuit breaker trolley. The fixed switchgear cabinet is divided into four small chambers: busbar chamber, circuit breaker chamber, cable chamber and low voltage chamber. The basic type of switchgear cabinet is feeder cabinet.

 

In addition to the basic cabinet type, there are other derived types, such as busbar segmentation cabinet, metering cabinet, PT cabinet, and so on. In addition, there are fixed load switches, vacuum contactor trolleys, isolation trolleys and other programs.

Dynamic switchgear can be installed against the wall or face to face to fully meet the specific requirements of the site. In the busbar segmentation system, there must be two dedicated switchgear cabinets, i.e., busbar coupling cabinet with circuit breaker trolley and isolation cabinet (also PT cabinet or metering cabinet).

 

The enclosure and partitions of the dynamic switchgear are made of high-quality steel plates (including 2mm-thick aluminum-zinc-deposited plates and 2mm-thick galvanized plates, and 2mm-thick cold-rolled steel plates with spray-painted surfaces for the door panels), which have strong oxidation- and corrosion-resistant functions, and have higher stiffness and mechanical strength than ordinary low-carbon steel plates. Its solid structure and sufficient strength to withstand the weight of the cabinet components, vibration caused by the operation. Its enclosure is made of zinc-aluminum-deposited steel plate.

 

Three high-pressure room (bus room, circuit breaker room and cable room) of this type of dynamic switchgear are equipped with pressure release plate at the top of the pressure release device determined by the current size, where the main bus current 1000A and the following bus room pressure relief plate selection of flat plate, the main bus current 1000A-2500A bus room pressure relief plate selection of flat mesh board, the main bus 3150A and above selection of M-shaped mesh board, circuit breaker room pressure relief plate 1000A and the following selection of solid plate, 1000A-1250A selection of flat mesh plate, 1600A and above (including the use of transformer cabinets and PT cabinets) selection of M-shaped mesh plate, the cable room pressure relief board circuit breaker trolley 1000A and the following selection of solid plate, 1000A-2500A, including the use of transformer selection of flat mesh plate, 3150A and above the selection of M-shaped mesh plate.

 

One end of the pressure relief plate is fixed by steel screws and the other end is fixed by plastic screws. When the dynamic switchgear has an internal fault (generating arc), the air pressure inside the high-voltage compartment rises, and the high-pressure gas will be released through the pressure release plate due to the tightly closed and reliable sealing of the cabinet door. The cable compartment door and the circuit breaker compartment door are separate, each with an observation window made of explosion-proof glass. The dynamic switchgear is separated by their own partitions, and there is still an air cushion behind the assembly of the cabinets, which prevents the switchgear cabinets from being melted by a fault arc penetration.

 

Low-voltage compartment D is assembled as a separate compartment from the high-voltage area. The partition separating breaker compartment B and cable compartment C prevents the operator from touching the live parts in busbar compartment A and cable compartment C, even if the breaker trolley is removed (the flap closes automatically at this point). The horizontal partitions can be removed by removing the fastening bolts, making it easy to install cable sealing terminals.

 

The rear sealing plate of the busbar compartment and the plug plate of the large curved plate with flap form the internal isolation of the dynamic switchgear, and even when the busbar fails to ignite an arc, the internal partitions of the dynamic switchgear ensure the safety of the personnel approaching the disconnecting chamber and the cable chamber. The low-voltage room (instrument room) is separated from the high-voltage part by the instrument room partition. And in the event of an internal fault arc in the end cabinet, it has mechanical and thermal protection against the arc.

 

The low voltage compartment (relay compartment) is separated from the high voltage section by the instrument compartment partition. At both ends of the dynamic switchgear, the terminal cover plate (end sealing plate) not only ensures the aesthetic appearance of the switchgear surface, but also provides mechanical and thermal protection against electric arcs when internal fault arcs occur in the end cabinet.
