The working principle of self rotating motor is based on electromagnetic induction. When three-phase current passes through the stator windings, a rotating magnetic field is generated, which in turn induces a current in the rotor, forming a torque that rotates the rotor. Since the rotor speed is lower than the rotation speed of the stator field, it is called an "asynchronous" motor.

 

S1 Duty self rotating motor mainly consists of stator, rotor, bearings, casing and other parts. The stator is the stationary part of the motor and contains the windings and core; the rotor is the rotating part of the motor and is usually of squirrel-cage construction; the bearings are used to support the rotor and reduce friction; and the housing protects the internal components and provides heat dissipation.
