Brief Introduction
Operate YRKK900 only after it past the test and without any faults. If any deviation from the normal operating condition, such as high temperature, noise and elevated vibration, the YRKK series should be turned off immediately and the find out the causes. The noise of the motor should not exceed the national standard limit.
Start the motor in accordance with instructions. The load of series wound rotor machine should be reduced to minimum, especially in case of reduced voltage starting and/or high load flywheel torque.
Repeated start will make the motor overheat. The YRKK series is allowed to start twice consecutively in a cold state, or once in a hot state after rated operation.
When the motor is overheating (use RTD or thermocouple to measure temperature, not by hand). Reasons should be: overload, single-phase operation, motor or ventilation pipe dust accumulation, voltage imbalance, rotor and stator friction. Related solutions are: measure the load, compare it with the namaplate rating, check if there is excessive friction in the motor wound rotor machine or the whole drive, reduce the load or replace the motor with a larger capacity, check the current in each phase, if a filter is fitted also check the blowing motor and vent pipe, clean the windings with a solvent, and if necessary, use a through strip on the tubular casing motor's piping to clean it up, check the voltage in each phase, clean up the air gaps, and check the concentricity. Replace bearings if necessary.

Applications
Large problems can be detected when examined with the naked eye or by hand. The final result is subject to instrumental measurements. The contents of the inspection are as follows:
Components for looseness and loss, e.g., balance blocks, balance pads, bolts, screws, nuts, couplings, keys, etc.
Fans and rotors for accumulation of dirt.
Infrastructure - base, foundation and connection to motor. If the structure is not rigid enough, it can increase vibration.
Connected equipment - Disassemble the motor to determine where the source of vibration is.
History - when the first vibration occurred, any change in the load or power of the equipment, and any change in the surrounding vibration.
Often it is more important that the vibration has changed over a period of time than its actual vibration value. The speed of vibration measurements gives a clearer and more obvious indication of vibration intensity than does the amplitude.
