Brief Introduction

 

When repairing YRKK800 wound rotor generator, the rotor can be removed from either end of the motor. In this process, attention should be paid to prevent from damaging the stator winding and insulation.

 

For motors stop or be stored for a long time, due to the exposure to humid air, rain, corrosive gases and oil dust, a conductive layer will adhere to the winding surface, reducing insulation resistance. Additionally, for motors running for an extended period, it may experience insulation degradation, such as cracking or brittleness due to electromagnetic forces, mechanical forces, and temperature effects, causing the reduction of insulation resistance. For the wound rotor generator motor with relatively low insulation resistance, it should be dried or cleaned with dried compressed air.
