IEC slip rings motor is widely used in industrial production. The slip ring is the electrical component responsible for connecting and conveying energy and signals to the rotating body. According to the transmission medium to distinguish, the slip ring is divided into electric slip ring, fluid slip ring, smooth ring, and can also be commonly referred to as "rotating connected" or "spiral". The slip ring is usually installed in the rotating center of the equipment, which is mainly composed of two parts: rotation and static. The rotating part connects the rotating structure of the device and follows the rotating motion, called the "rotor", and the stationary part connects the energy of the fixed structure of the device, called the "stator".
A device for transmitting electrical signals and electrical energy between a rotating part and a stationary part of an antenna mount using sliding or rolling contact, electrostatic coupling or electromagnetic coupling of conductive parts. There are driving components, measuring components and control components on the rotating parts, and control signals and power supplies must be transmitted to them from the machine room. This requires a variety of slip ring components to transmit signals and energy. Some radars need to rotate the connection of more than 100 lines. According to the frequency of the transmission signal, the slip ring assembly can be divided into low frequency slip ring, medium frequency slip ring and high frequency rotating hinge. Slip rings usually refer only to the first two. The electrical performance indicators of slip ring components are: insulation resistance, contact resistance, dielectric strength and crosstalk. For intermediate frequency slip rings, because the frequency is higher, shielding, impedance matching, noise voltage and so on should be considered. In the structural design, we must first ensure that the contact is reliable and ensure that all the lines are continuously connected. Therefore, the electrical conductivity of the material used in the brush is required to be good, the pressure on the slip ring should be appropriate, the eccentricity and slosh of the slip ring is small, the wear resistance is good, the friction torque is small, and the maintenance is easy.
