Brief Introduction

 

The principle of slip ring wound rotor motor winding refers to the winding of conductor wires on the rotor of the motor to generate torque through the interaction of the magnetic field generated by the current in the wires with the permanent magnetic field, thus realizing the operation of the motor.

 

The winding process of slip ring wound rotor motor starts with the need to wind the conductor wire around the core on the rotor. The wires usually used are copper and aluminum wires, the advantages of which are good electrical conductivity, low conductive loss, etc. Winding methods include snake winding, slot winding and squirrel cage winding.

 

In the winding process, the wire needs to be arranged according to a certain pattern to ensure the uniformity and efficiency of the magnetic field. Common winding methods include single-layer winding and double-layer winding. Single-layer winding is to wind the wires only on one side of the rotor, which is suitable for low-power motors.

 

The double-layer winding is to wind the wire on both sides of the rotor at the same time, which is suitable for high-power motors After the winding is completed, both ends of the wire need to be connected to the power supply to form a closed loop. When the current passes through the wire, a magnetic field will be generated in the wire. According to the principle of interaction between the current and the magnetic field, the magnetic force on the wire will generate a torque that will start the rotor rotating.

 

The core of the winding principle is that the magnetic field generated by the wire interacts with the permanent magnetic field to form a torque, which drives the motor to rotate. Efficient operation and excellent performance of motors can be realized through proper winding design and current control. The principle of wire winding in motor manufacturing is of great significance and has a direct impact on the power, efficiency and reliability of the motor.
