3 phase cage induction motor
Brief Introduction
In terms of YR series of high voltage 3 phase cage induction motor 400~2000kW one bearing temperature measuring element is set for one end of bearing, which is installed close to heating part. Stator temperature measuring element is embedded in the hottest position between the coils of top, intermediate and lower layers in stator slot; two elements for a phase, totally six; of which, three are in service and three are standby. The lead wires of stator and bearing temperature measuring elements are jointly led to temperature measurement terminal box. We generally use internal wire laying for bearing temperature measurement.
Take 3 phase cage induction motor as an example, when motor is in normal running condition, there may be temperature difference between two bearing temperature measuring elements, which is a normal phenomenon; the main reasons for the difference are: (1) error of temperature measuring elements; (2) bearing quality; (3) lubrication conditions; 4) cooling conditions; 5) load bearing size; 6) affected by uneven motor temperature.
The main reasons for temperature differences among the six stator temperature measuring elements are: (1) error of temperature measuring elements; (2) Electromagnetic wires and silicon steel sheets in different parts are not exactly the same, thus various parts generate different losses; 3) ventilation cooling system is not completely symmetrical.
